FUNDRAISING 101

The Donaldson Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting our elementary school and enhancing the educational experience for our children.

One of the key ways the PTA contributes is by purchasing critical supplies are often unbudgeted for by the school. These supplies can include everything from classroom materials, such as books and technology, to art supplies for creative projects, school-wide assembly programs, afterschool enrichment programs and essential resources for teachers to facilitate engaging lessons. By filling these gaps, the PTA ensures that our students have access to the tools they need to thrive academically and socially.

Our fundraising efforts, including events and initiatives throughout the year, directly support these purchases. The generosity of our community—parents, teachers, and local businesses—enables us to provide these essential resources that enrich our students' learning experiences and help create a nurturing environment.
